Congrats Carnal. I got a question- I started doing farmer stands to imrpove my grip. I deadlift with straps, should i use straps or just do the farmer stands without them?

No straps.

I would also say that regular bar holds in the power rack or thick bar work would serve you better than DB holds.

I'm super hyped. I'm two weeks out from my singles week. Then my PR days follow that.

Current totals
Dead 290 ish can't remember
Bench 200
Squat 315

Currently Working out with
Dead 285 concentrating on form right now
Bench 195 4sets 4 reps Oh yeah i'm smashing that pr
Squat 295 4 sets 4 reps I'm thinking i might get 350 on my pr day. *primal roar*

After that i'll be cutting for quite a while to fight in august. I'll be fighting at 145 pounds. I'm confident I'll be quite strong for that weight.

oh yeah, and after my fight i think i'm going to concentrate on getting my 3 lift total above 1000

Did 530X2 without a belt in the deadlift.

I may likely pull 550X2 before my meet.

1500lbs here I come.
