Cleaned 280lbs yesterday, it is 10lbs off my PR but it is my post injury PR. It went up extremely easy and I followed it up with 225x7 or 8 (i dont remember). Anyway, 300 is right and I mean right around the corner. With how easy the 280 went up I'm not so sure I couldn't have hit 3 bills yesterday.
Anyway, Carnal says when I hit 315 on the Clean, I have the right to beat my chest and howel wherever and whenever I want to. That coming from a guy who does not really care for the Oly lifts, means alot. Thanks for the encouragement mang, I'm almost there.

Why don't you record yourself doing a max effort power clean like what I did instead of a warmup weight? I have great form when doing warmups with 135, etc. I hate how people think my form is shit regardless of the weight just by looking at my 1RM sets.

Because a clean is not like a deadlift where your from might break down a bit on heavy weights.
Olympic lifting is a loooooooot about technique. Look at top olympic lifters form on 135 and then their heaviest clean and it will look almost exactly the same.
Not to take anything away from you, still a nice press for your body weight. I would maybe stop doing clean and presses and work on cleans seperate and do your presses out of the rack. At least until you get better at cleans. Maybe do the cleans on deadlift day first, and then go into your work sets of deadlift after the cleans.
This will also help you be able to press heavier weights since you won't have to use up so much energy trying to clean the weight. And of course I mean only with a barbell, as your videos of you cleaning your log are much much better.
(by the way- this is Greg from jesse's boards)
