My New Schedule

Finally I am recovered from my ankle injury and ready to start squating and dead lifting again. It's been nearly a year since I have lifted, so I feel the Bill Starr 5X5 would be a good place to restart and rejuvenate my training. So without further a due, here's my training schedule. Tell me what you think, and some tweaks that could be made.

Monday
Morning-Bench press,Squat,Dynamic Row,HIIT cardio
Evening-MMA training

Tuesday
Morning-LSD cardio, Grip Work
Evening-MMA training

Wednesday
Morning-Deadlift,Squat,Military Press,Pull Ups-HIIT Cardio
Evening-MMA Training

Thursday
Morning-LSD Cardio,Grip Work
Evening-MMA Training

Friday
Morning-Bench press,Squat,Dynamic Row,HIIT Cardio
Evening-Muay Thai

Saturday
Morning-LSD Cardio,Bag Work
Evening-BJJ

Sunday
Morning-Not sure if I will take this morning off, or do some grip work
Evening-BJJ

Well dam that is ALOT of work - good luck and I hope it works well for you. Ive been doing the 5x5 (without all of the cardio and mma training that you will be doing) for several months now, and the gains have been preety good.

Yeah I used to do the BS5x5 years ago, but since I haven`t trained in awhile due to injuries, I feel its a good place to restart.

I am so jealous of you, that you have time to train in the morning and night everyday. Have fun.

Careful you don't end up aggravating your old injuries with all of that training.

If you can handle it, good for you. But, if you aren't seeing any gains, getting cranky and just not feeling like you're making progress, you've got to let up a bit. This sounds like a training schedule that will lead you straight to over training.

Yeah, but I am willing to try. If it does, I will let up, but it all depends on every person. Everyone is different, so what might be overtraining for you, may not be for me. Not trying to sound ignorant, btu its just the truth.

I think you at least one day where your body simply rests. That's my opinion.

Make sure you eat A LOT.

^Yeah I am eating 6 times a day. Hopefully I don't overtrain. If I can do it without overtraining, I will...regardless of how tough it may be.
