Month out for meet, program change?

I would like to switch to Wendler's 5/3/1 program after finding it online, however, I have a powerlifting meet at my gym in about a month's time. Currently in my 23rd week of doing a Westside type program. This isn't a sanctioned meet, though it is legit (chest bouncing bench presses are allowed and the quarter squats are legal and encouraged as full squats hurt your knees). It would be my first competition and although I'd obviously like to lift well, my main goal is to get used to some aspects of a competition, mainly 9 heavy lifts, before competing in the most likely the CPU. I do not plan to compete with anything more than a belt and perhaps knee sleeves for squats.

Should I continue on my Westside way until the meet's time, or jump ship to 5/3/1 as soon as possible? Do not bother looking at my log as it is quite behind.

Chest bouncing and quarter squats - that's a joke, right?

Hahaha, I meant to put a disclaimer it was a joke at the bottom of the post. Obviously forgot. Below parallel squats and paused benches I have been told from the two trainers running it.

With a month, I'd probably keep on what you been doing. You wouldn't really have time to test your maxes and get a full wave in while allowing some rest before the comp.

If this is your first time, I wouldn't do anything drastic and just rest 1 week out from the meet.

Once you get some more experience under your belt, well...then you can get fancy.
