I love the idea of any event where you have to chuck heavy stuff into the air, the keg throwing event at last year's WSM was simply awesome.

I agree. Jesse was a freak on the keg toss. I couldn’t understand why more competitors didn’t figure out that you should drag two kegs at a time to the throwing area. What’s so hard about that? At 60lbs. each, it’s not like they’re heavy for those guys.

By the way…

Existing members, get me some profiles written up and send me a photo if you want one with your profile. So far, I’ve only got two up. Write them in the first person and feel free to say whatever it is you want to say about yourself.

The trick of dragging two kegs at once is one of those things which I expect is so obvious once you've seen it, but you don't think of because you're so focused on the event itself.

I'll probably write up a profile some time soon, probably after the weekend though.
