Today, after some very hard months of treatment and lots and lots of weight loss, she is in remission, thanks to the gene therapy trial she enrolled in. The main cancer level reading has gone from 19,000 at diagnosis to 240 this past Friday and it continues to drop. She looks great and has returned to a healthy weight. Even her doctor is giddy-ecstatic.

As you probably know, there is rarely any such thing as remission w/ pancreatic cancer. 99% of the time, you get it, then you die, so this is the best result we could have hoped for, regardless of what the future brings.
That's an awesome story. Gene therapy is some exciting stuff.

Yep. I got the nylon packing strap, two clamps and a piece of PVC pipe at the hardware store for under $15- as compared to $55- for the fancy ones at EliteFTS. The only thing I don't like about mine is the straps are wide and I think that's adding some stability to the lifts but I couldn't find anything narrower w/o driving around and wasting gas and time.

Thanks for the positve feedback on the video guys, I didn't know if anyone would be into pushups or not.

Pancreatic cancer is a terrrible disease. I had a co-worker who died of it and I don't know who it was harder on, him or his family and friends.

Right at the end of the video you can see your right shoulder twist back a bit.

Since I can't hold a lot of weight anymore I've been experimenting in my DL and the other day I tried sumo with a stance so wide I only had to move a few inches it seemed. I got bored at 20 some reps with 315. I really don't see the point in DLing like that when the stance makes the weight irrelevant.
