Japanese style?

Good morning, I have heard of an exercise technique whereby you do as many reps as possible in 20 seconds and then rest for 20 seconds repeating this for 6 sets.

Is it a Japanese style?

Thanks

It is true that is how the ninjas train.

The reason it is called tabatha interval is that you are paying homage to the head ninjer Tabatha.

So if your not Christian it is good.

They're called tabata intervals. They involve 20 sec of intense activity followed by 10 sec rest, repeated 8 times.

That would be since I am being a meanie and joking with you since you asked a funny question.

Tabatha is a Japanese researcher who gave name to the specific interval in question, it is a kickass way of getting into condition, it is not something you would do to build strenght in generall.

This is the non-ninja version... no one can handle the real version (except for ninjas).
