How much weight do you use for weighted pushups?

Right now I'm doing weighted pushups with 35 lbs-50 lbs worth of plates on my back. I can bust out about 30-40 reps of these. How heavy do you guys go on weighted pushups?

Is there really going to be any help to you to know what some random person can lift compared to you? Try going to the bench press its alot better for building strength, the base measure is if you can lift your body weight thats good.

Be careful man…. If you do that you should push up on your fists not the palm of your hands. I heard you can blow out your wrist like that…. (I don’t know this for a fact, but someone told me this)
