I've been thinking of getting away from a mixed grip and just fry my fucking grip till i can pull my max weight with a double overhand grip.

Oh ok. My back and hands can pull about the same. On account I have COC!!! But I also pull about half of 700

I'm not really sure what the advantage would be here to limiting your back and posterior strength gains to what you can grip DOH. I just work up in weight DOH until the shit is falling out of my hands then switch to mixed. Nobody who pulls big does it without a mixed or hook grip.

My thoughts also. Maybe if you wanted to do that on your back off sets after your heavy working set or the ones leading up to your heavy work where you can't do DOH any more, but it seems almost counter productive unless you're entering a support grip competition.
