Help me look like ronnie coleman

How does this sound?

Day one: Deadlifts
Deadlifts 5X5
BB Shoulder Shrugs
Ab work
T-bar rows
pullups

Day Two: Bench
Bench Press 5X5
Dips
OHP

Day Three: Squats
Squats 5X5
OHS 3-4X6
Good mornings
????

Is getting compensation sets in stupid?
If I leave a couple reps on the bench I go back and try to get them a bit later, maybe even include a couple extra to make up for the ones I couldn’t do, ergo a compensation set.

What benefits would this workout hold over the SS or 5x5?

Anything else I should know about the pps?

Sorry for the questions, but I couldn’t find that much information on the PPS aside from the fact that it exists.

That title change was cold. I was actually viewing the thread and trying to answer this noob's questions. Who did that? Had to be Luust.

To the TS: Yes getting "compensation" sets in is stupid. Pick a straightforward program and stick to it. Don't go to failure with every set. Your program looks OK, but you have more exercises than needed for a beginner. How about the Starting Strength novice program:

Workout A
3x5 Squat
3x5 Bench Press
1x5 Deadlift

Workout B
3x5 Squat
3x5 SOHP
5x3 Power cleans

I don't actually want to look like ronnie coleman.

The title change was all me.

I looked into the SS, but the lack of accessory exercises put me off. I really want to do dips and Shoulder shrugs.

Dips and bench press go together like BJ Penn and kicking ass.

Then do them. I don't think anyone should tell you you can't throw in some extra accessory work if you need/want it...AS LONG AS it's an ACCESSORY. The bulk of your energy should be spent on your money excercises. Like I would put rows and chins ahead of ab work and shrugs.

p.s. I would consider dips a "money" excercise moreso than an "assistance" excercise.

I already have rows and chins in there. You know what I am looking for, though? An exercise to fill in the ?????.
