dude, you posted this in the freaking training log section...and abs are abs, no lower, no upper, one muscle, just abs, training them in any way will train the lower abs, try full range sit-ups WITHOUT straitening your back...keep it rounded (or crunched)

Reverse curls. Lay flat on your back with your hands behind your head, or under something to brace yourself with. You should be in the normal situp position. But instead of crunching forward, bring your knees up towards your face. Make sure your ass leaves the floor with each rep. Shoot for 2-3 sets of around 15-20 reps. Let me know how it feels.

THERE'S NO SUCH THING AS LOWER ABS!!!

I know exactly why you want some exercises right? cause you have visible "upper abs" and you think if you could just work your lower abs a bit more you could get a six pack... Right? No. First, what you think of as abs is one muscle and you cannot work parts of the same muscle. second, you cannot spot reduce bodyfat. you need to lower total bodyfat to gain definition.

There are no lower ab exercises, because you cannot work your lower abs...

thats not true... i know a guy who used to chew like 3 packs of gum a day and he had really skinny cheeks but was fat everywhere else. Then he suddenly stopped chewing gum and got fat cheeks again.

He was saying that there are no such things as "lower abs" or "upper abs"; its all one muscle:

So whether your doing reverse crunches or situps or ab wheel rollouts or whatever, your entire rectus abdominus is working.

Most of the time people, in order to have the bottom portion of the rectus abdominus more visible, they lower their bodyfat.
