A few lift form questions

Not wanting to clog up other threads or raise the dead i am looking for a few form questions.

Squat: I was reading about squatting wide and was wondering 2 questions, shoudl your feet point outwards away from your body or should they point stright ahead as if you were not squatting wide. Also i have read about turning you feet out being bad for your knees is this bunk?

Deadlift, Right now i usually start wide stance shoulders over the bar and the bar touching my shin knees behind feet. Is this correct cause i see mixed and see people doing it other ways?

Cleans and front squats. I have trouble holding a front squat on my upper chest because the backwards bends hurts my wrists, would crossing my arms like i was hugging myself be a better way of doing this or would that hurt the lift and i shoudl just wrap my wrists? Lastly for a hang clean when do start dip your body again? I mean you squat down power out, snap your arms then dip or do you

thanks in advance

Squat: I would suggest that you point your feet outward enough so that you can keep your feet flat on the ground while squatting in a good parallel position. I have noticed slight pains in the inside of my knees when I point my feet out, but I think that it is a flexibility issue more than anything.

Read Keith Wassung's thread about the Full Squats for Strength and Development in the stickies.

Deadlift: What you've described seems to be correct so far, and there's many types of deadlifts. Conventional, Sumo, Stiff-Legged, Romanian etc. The two most popular styles that I've seen are Conventional and Sumo. Look up some deadlifting videos on Youtube.
Do you deadlift with your arms on the inside of your knees or the outside?

Front squats: Personally, I do them like this:

They can also be performed in the clean position as well. Whichever way you choose to do them, you are really going to have to fight to keep the weight supported.

Yep seems to have pretty much covered everything. For the front squats, you're either gripping the bar too much (should be on about the edge of the fingertips) or your wrists just aren't flexible enough. If its the flexibility, try light front squats at the beginning of every session just to get the flexibility (or you can just change the way you're holding it to BB style).
