The last couple MMs are a bitch! I also noticed that if I turn my hand inward on this part, it puts me in a better position for the close.

pfft...give it couple years....nothing happens over night....focus on setting the gripper properly

I highly suggest you practice mash monster set......it probably has the best carryover to other sets....and it helps those with smaller hands......

Set completely makes the difference for me - when I get the set right, I can hammer the #1 and close the #2 without working to hard.

With a bad set #1 is hard and #2 is a brick wall.

Funny thing - the set for my right hand is different from the set for my left.

I snap with my ring finger on my right hand and my middle on left hand though, so there's a good chance that my hands work differently.

When i first got my CoC i also couldn't get the handles to touch, and thought it might be due to my small hands or a design flaw...

but it turns out i was just fucking weak, i can click them together fine now (with my right hand anyway...)

This is why I actually practice setting between grip sessions.

you just have to work your way up to mashing the handles together, trust me, work at it and you'll get it in no time...

it's a parallel set....

also overcrushes is when you close a moderately hard gripper and then damn near grind the handles...ie squeezing gripper as hard as you can once it's closed....

forced closes is when you close the gripper as much as you can and then assist with your other hand or body.....
