changing my routine to build MUSCLE MASS....need help!!!!

okey dokey....the past 6 months my whole thing was to lose weight....im 5'7 and was walking at 206 lbs in january....a lil over a week ago I was about 156-157, so I lost a ton of weight....problem is, I lost a lot of mass all over the place and now I wanna build some quality muscle mass while still shrinking my stomach and getting that 6 pack. I love doing cardio and have no problems with that, but when it comes to building mass, i'm a complete amateur.

my prior routine was 2 muscle groups a day, mon, wed and fri with sun, tue and thurs as my cardio days. i would do 5 sets of 12,10,8,6 then back to 12 reps increasing the weight as i decreased the reps then finish with my light starter of 12. This definitely helped in my weight loss.

for my new routine I wanna go 6 days a week again, but target 1 muscle a day....doing weights early on and cardio later in the day. For my sets and reps I was thinking....4 exercises per muscle with 4 sets each of 10,8.6 & 4 reps. Another 1 I was thinking of was 3 sets of 8,6 & 4 working 5 exercises. As you can see.....i am very much conflicted. Im starting later today with weights and I wanna figure this out ASAP as I am dead serious on a new routine to build some grade a muscle mass......any help would be much appreciated!!!!

That could work. Or you could read the FAQ

Take this ***got shit to another forum.

...feels bad for such a harsh response...

... In other words this is not the proper forum for your question as the title of the subforum sugests which is "Strength and Power" not "Isolation and ***age".

Quick self-test --

On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 meaning "not at all"), how important is it for you to BE strong?

On the same scale, how important is it for you to LOOK strong?

If your desire to be strong is as great or greater than your interest in looks, then read the FAQ and build a strength-oriented routine.

If not, you're better off at a bodybuilding forum.
