I use the p90x "ab ripper" workout. Thats pretty good. I also have a myriad of other exercises that have not been listed. I have a pretty decent 6 pack.

The list is a compilation of abdominal exercise strategically categorized by movement. The names are as standard as they come and a quick search on any internet search engine (I hear
google is popular with kids these days) will yield several pages for most movements on the list.
I think you are misinterpreting the goal of this thread. It does not exist to provide a glossary of exercises, it exists only to classify them, so when you decide that you want to train your core for performance instead of aesthetics you have a basic understanding of what exercises contribute to what movements.
Furthermore, I'd contend categorizing these exercises by movement wiill help most people identify weaknesses in their cores. If they go through each category and find they are particularly weak in lateral deviation (say saxon side bends) and are really strong in abdominal flexion exercises (situps) they now have a list of lateral deviation exercises to select from. Furthermore, if you've want to rotate out an exercise, but don't want to switch movement types, you can just look on the list associated with said exercise and pick another one.
All of this, however, is based on your willingness to look up these exercises yourself. Please feel free to do so. It's a very usefull tool and I am grateful madmick put this together.
