Hoonstra's bench video is fucking unbelieveable. 675, raw, feet flat on the floor. His ass pops a little and no pause, but whatever, that is SICK strength at 242.

I started weight training at age 18. Right from the start I was strong. The first time I ever lifted I squatted 500lbs and deadlifted 600 pounds. Lads from the gym thought I had trained before, but no, it was my first time. That's when it all started.

There was a dude on my HS football team like that. I think it's this genetic disease (hyperthyroidism?) that makes you naturally buff but in return you'll have heart problems later on.

But yeah I remember freshman year of highschool this kid squated 450 the first time he ever touched a weight. Interestingly his upper body (not including lower back) was just normal so he was disproportional (huge ass glute and legs) but of course, all powerlifting is all lower body so his clean, snatch, deadlifts were all insane too

Derek Pomona from New Zealand deadlifting. Heavy weight, and I thought his form was incredible! Love to be able to deadlift like that.

Apparently the second lift looked so easy they red-lighted him as a joke!

that DL vid is badass simply because of how easy those were when he still had a third lift to go

Keep in mind, that is 915, Mike is a 275 lifter, 23 years old, and was just feeling out his opener for Nationals this Saturday. The man is the next legit powerlifting freak.
