Fuck all, that's what.

While I really feel out of shape, I know I need to take it down a few notches for this cycle. I'll probably end up doing some Tabata sprints or burpees anyways. I just can't go that long with out going for a run.

EDIT:
As for MMA......I'll admit, I haven't been to my MMA gym since May.

I've been focusing on so many other things as of late, MMA has sorta taken a back seat.

Bama, good luck with with that but seriously, with MMA you are going to get smoked. If I was you I would just do the base cycle and then start your MMA and do your normal lifting routine after that. Screw the intense phase....

I don’t want to piss in your guy’s cereal here but all these specific programs like Coan/Smolov, written by huge monster power lifters who make these routines specifically for other pro guys who have plateau on their lifts.

Reading the comments on those things, it goes something like "Dude awesome program I added 70lbs to my 700lb squat" shouldn’t that tell you something?

Anyway I guess the point I’m trying to make is why go to all these extremes (designed by pros for other pros) when you can probably still get good gains just doing the good ol 3 day split.
