id go as low as you feel comfortable with and still feeling strong and the rest...people use reach and speed to their advantage in the ring so i would think you should maximise your advantage by fighting in a low weight division, 6 foot 9 is a crazy height, long reach and not many people between ww and middleweight are that tall, if any :S

Honestly, I think it's pretty ridiculous to be worried about this at the stage you are at. You are 16 years old. You haven't even begun Muay Thai training. You have not had one fight yet. What if we say you should stay at 185 lbs and you fill out by the time you are ready to fight? Worry about this when you are REALLY thinking about fighting. At that point, you will probably know if you are too small/weak or if you are strong enough to stay at the low weight. You will probably be more educated and not even need to ask this question to a bunch of strangers who have never seen you train.

Have you ever seen Kendall Grove?

That dude scared the shit out of me. He is like some kind of fighting praying mantis or something...brrrr. 6 foot 9 at 185 lbs is not a good idea.

But seriously just train hard and eat hard and see where you end up. Trying for some weight at your age seems like a bad idea.
