When do you draw the line between being too tired to train?

I came home from work today which is a saturday.I get up at 4 am fot my job.I am usually finished it about 10 30 am.There is a BJJ training session a 11 am until 1 pm.Sometimes i would go even if i was slightly late.Today i didnt as i was a bit wrecked. There is also another 1 at 2 pm but today i just feel that wrecked i couldnt face it as this 1 is more intense.I enjoy BJJ and it is annoying being so wrecked and trying to train after work.Does anyone here just go to training and hope you will be OK or would you not go ?

i'll push it a lot of the time and just grab an energy drink before class. if i've been training for a string of consecutive days tho, and im beat up and tired, i'll skip.

It all depends on how you feel. Get to know your body and when you're too tired to train. In fact, I woke up this morning and THOUGHT I was too beat up to go workout but now that I'm sitting here at a computer in sweat pants, I realized I feel fine.

Sometimes I feel great and go to the gym and get beat up bad.
Sometimes I really feel like shit but manage to force myself to go train and I roll like there's no tomorrow.
I never can tell.
But when I've only slept like a couple of hours ( I work night shifts ) or when I feel some potential injury coming on I stay home or just roll real light.
Just don't go overtraining 'cause it might set you back with injuries for a long time.

look at the rest of the days in your life you went to do something when you were tired. Did it ultimately effect the person you are today? would it harm or help you?

Either way every day passes and the next one comes. If you get it out of the way today, you are ahead of the game the next day.

Skip needs be, just try to maintain a good attendence rate, like at least 75-80%. If you drop below that you could be wasting your time/money.
