and if my kuzashi is so good they fall down I am penalized?

No grabbing pant legs then attacking?

both are retarded rules IMO
If your kazushi is good and they fall down, you score. One of the rule Changes, not really a change but more of a stricter rule enforcment, is penalizing false attack were tori does not unbalance uki, such as you see alot in drop seoi nage.

As far as grabbing the pant leg and attacking, they must be done at the same time or a penalty will be awarded, it does not state that you can not grab the leg, just the pants, and remember that the first shido is free, it does not give your opponent a score as there are no kokas.

I think the new rules are going to be fairly easy to adapt to and it SHOULD make refferee calls more precise as they are taking away some gray areas and making them more black and white.

I have been to a new rules clinic but have not used them in shia, but we started using them in the dojo a few months ago to get used to them.

I think the new rules will reward good judo more than good take down ability. my favorite rule change is bringing in line tachi waza out of bounds rules with ne waza, no more shido or matte if one steps out, as long as one player has a foot in bounds, let the action continue
I agree. I am in favor of the new rules.

only if you dont unbalance them. If you go for a drop seoi and they don't move, its a penalty.
