Ways to escape full mount

Hey I am new to doing MMA and I was wondering what the best way to escape full mount is? When I try a arm bar from guard bottom sometimes I get caught in fullmount and I cant get out.

Shrimp.

How do you get mounted after attempting an armbar from guard?

LOL, sorry, but WHAT?!?!?

There is a SERIOUS problem here if you're getting caught in mount when you try to armbar...

hook and roll. just trap and arm and a leg on one side and bridge him in that direction.

i'm assuming the OP is getting stacked, passed, and mounted. Maybe, he doesn't realize the transitions steps...

It depends on what kind of mount the guy has, if the mount is a low mount and he tangles your feet would be much different then if he has a real high mout with his knees in your armpits. There are many techniques and you need to ask your instructor.
