BJJ training in Australia,,,and/or mma
i was just wondering what are some nice gyms to train in for BJJ. Same question for MMA. They dont haave to be in the same gym, but i was just wondering which is the best in each aspect, or at least, most succesful in comps. and most well known.
im looking for a gym that will really make u push urselves, good instruction, and somewhat a "carlson" gracie type training where they go HARD. I know it also has to do with my mindset on how hard i will push myself, but it also helps if the whole atmosphere of the gym is tough.
Thanks!!

Daniel Lima is a hard little bugger (BJJ black belt & was ranked top 5 by sherdog mma)
Ben Hall runs carlson gracie JJ for australia (I Think)
We have world class boxing/ maui thai gyms all over the place.
Intergrated Martial Arts so far is the best or one of MMA gyms in Australia, alot of thier fighters are winning belts and travelling overseas.
Heaps of bjj blackbelts down Sydney Melbourne way (but who would want to live down there).

I think you need to be a little more specific, Australia isn't little.
At least give us a state.

They're going pretty good AFAIK. Shane Nix is having a good run in MMA and last I heard their students are actively competing:

Warriors Realm results:
On Friday February 29th SPMA had 3 students that fought at Warriors Realm at
Homebush.
Fred Chahroura won his first professional match by decision. Chi Kit Cheung
lost his match by decision in his third professional match. And Aaron Martin
lost his match by TKO in the first round in his second professional match.

There's a few BJJ/MMA clubs in Sydney, but I only have been to SMPA and Universal (new, in Castle Hill ... Universal Combat Academy specialising in BJJ & MMA in the Hills District of Sydney Australia run by Simon). Both are great!

LOL point taken. The thing is, im taking my internship for culinary in australia. Havent decided where yet, so i figure, whichever has a good mma/bjj gym, might be a deciding factor for me. Ofcourse, a good place to intern is first priority.
But anyways, question for those who train under lima. Does he train you guys personally? or does he have someone else? and was just wondering if this is ur website:
Welcome To Fight Club Jui - Jitsu
or is it Five Rings Martial Arts Centre
they both have lima listed so i duno which is which.
oh and one more thing, could u guys give me some detail on what training's like with him? whats his style of teaching etc. same goes for sinosic-perosh
