using outside of forearm while rolling
Is it proper etiquette to use your forearm to force submission?
for example, you're in someone's guard and they have you pinned from the leg down because their legs are strapped around your waist, but your arms are still free. Can you push the outside or your forearm underneath your opponent's chin and against their neck to make them submit?
Thanks in advance!

That won't work on me. I will armbar you , push your elbow to the side and take your back, or just use my legs to push your hips away.
Learn to pass the guard.
It might work on a beginner or if you have a big weight advantage. Most blue belts and above will not have a problem defending against a forearm on the throat in guard.

You will get armbarred every time against a guy that has more then a few practices. position before submission. pass his guard and then see what you can do from there

Sure you can, but you will be easily submitted, swept, or swept and submitted by anyone with more than 3 months training.

If somebody puts their forearm in my face when I'm playing guard, can I bite it to make them submit? Thanks in advance.

I do this all the time, I like it. As far as getting countered, sure it can happen, but it's pretty hard if you know it's coming. Basically it forces your opponent to drop what he's doing and try to deal with the arm. At that point, you need to switch out, because if he moves to going after the arm, he's going to get it if you do nothing.
There's nothing bad etiquette about it, it's just a choke like any other. As long as you aren't on the jaw or face, it's fine.

Yeah the punch choke from inside guard is not very good as a choke, but it's a great way to make someone open their guard. As soon as they open though, you gotta drop it and start working a guard pass.
