1st match of Europeans...Flame Away

Here is by far the sloppiest submission I have pulled off. Actually the video starts after I had attempted a throw and he got my right leg. I wanted to jump up in the air for an uber cool triangle but I got scarred so I just sat through it planning on playing some guard but whaddya know, the triangle/armbar was there.

I hurt my balls so badly in this match that I felt light headed, nauseated, and wanted to throw up. Time to invest in a cup

I lost my next match 3 advantages to 2

This is open weight juvenile, my last tournament in the pussy division! Now its time to whip up on the big boys!

Well done. The guy you were facing looked like shit but the triangle to armbar transition was nice. Good job finishing him early, now go ice your balls.

I was re-watching it and I cant quite figure out exactly what he was trying to do. Who knows, but he was really really strong for his size. I weighed in at 80 kg and he was like 78 but felt much stronger...

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know any takedowns where you grab under the knee like that, and I suspect neither did he.

Nope. You reach across to the opposite leg for that. I'm with colim, I think the guy was going to try to just lift and slam.

Congrats....i'm going to enter my first submission grappling tourney a month from now. It's a no points tourney. Match either ends in submission or draw. I've only been doing this for about a month now and have no previous wrestling experience so I'm fully expecting to get sub'd in all my matches. Should be a fun experience though.
