rash guards instead of SINGLETS do you think that more kids would be into it? I remember (foolishly) thinking how "gay" the uniforms were when i was young. However, if they wore shorts and rash guards i would not have thougth this way. What do you think? I understand that the SINGLET is the traditional wrestling uniform but times change and so do uniforms...

no i am saying that teenagers and kids would feel better. Man i am damm near 30 so i don't really care if i have to wear a kit but i think that it help make wrestling look more popular if the wrestlers wore board shorts and rash guards.

sorry blanko but this thread is about retarded. probaly since the beginning of the singlet, im guessing the numbers of wrestling students / competitors has gone up. i see no problem with the singlet and i highly doubt it will change, due to the fact that there's no problem with it at all. except for people that have the "gay" issues

Based off the opinion of my ex girlfriend, yes. I do own a singlet. I haven't worn it that often since she basically laughed at me wearing my Adidas singlet before declaring "That's possibly the least sexy thing I've ever seen you wear. Never wear it around me again". Keep in mind I also own vale tudo shorts. So, I think there may be something to this suggestion.
