This is kind of a silly question - it makes you look like a sadistic prick.

That said, I wrestled freestyle and made good use of the arm triangle from scarf-hold (head and arm) to pin people who were putting up a good fight from their back. The pin is always called before they completely black out, though.

At the time, I didn't even really understand it was a choke. I just knew it made them stop struggling.

If this makes you and this post go away, I will post a few: Front headlock choke variations are legal and effective. Kimura throws after a standup and kimura switches sometimes work and are rarely called. Calf crusher breakdowns work very well with a leg in. Arm triangles can work, but refs seem to be catching on to the 'choke' aspect of it. Of course you can use the twister/guillotine. Alternatively, you could actually learn how to wrestle properly and beat people that way....

the kimura throws and switches are actually legal the rule book just says they have to used quickly in a throwby fashion and not used in a fashion to exert force against the joint

well I had some wrestling matches and I got my pins by judo throwing them and then getting them in chokes (arm triangle, guillotine etc.) and pinning them that way. Usually the just allow you to pin them, so that it ends.

One time, and this is quite funny, I was taken down, but for some stupid reason I went for the triangle choke, and then I swept my opponent so that I ended up on top with my triangle still in place and him pinned. That was the strangest win I ever had.

If you have a strong grip and know how to apply pressure to your opponent you can add pain to most pinning combinations. At lower levels, a little pain will make a guy lay his shoulders down for you. If you watch HS wrestling meets, you can usually see the point where a kid just gives up and lays his shoulder down.

If you get away with a real joint lock or a choke in folkstyle, it's because the ref was an idiot.

Aren't chokes like the Brabo and the Anaconda chokes legal in folkstyle wrestling? You have both a head and an arm, and they can be applied pretty easily especially right after your opponent shoots and you sprawl out.
