POLL- Grappling/MMA cruise seminar

I am just trying to get a general sense of what YOU would think about doing a crusie seminar for MMA/grappling.

Some of the things I am interested in learning include:

Do you mind mixing a vacation with training?

What is the best time of the year to do this and why? (school/kids/work)

What type of price range would be reasonable? (seminar AND cruise)

How many days of crusing would be best for YOU? (is 3 days too short is 5 days too long etc...)

Would you come from another state to attend if the instructor was well known/reputable?

There have been a few of these out of California and they appear to be pretty popular, I am thinking of arranging one out of Florida and would like as much good info as possible.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

I think it would probably be too expensive for me, knowing the cost of cruises. Like, if it costs the same as going to Brazil to train at BTT for two weeks, I'd rather do that.

I like training vacations though. My last one was muay thai in Thailand.

Do you mind mixing a vacation with training? No

What is the best time of the year to do this and why? (school/kids/work) Summer b/c of kids

What type of price range would be reasonable? (seminar AND cruise)It would really depend on the instructors, the length of the trip and the destination.

How many days of crusing would be best for YOU? (is 3 days too short is 5 days too long etc...) For training 5 days would be good

Would you come from another state to attend if the instructor was well known/reputable? Yes

thanks for the input so far. As an FYI cruise prices are ALL over the board and depending on timing and cruise line it can actually be quite cheap, relatively speaking of course.

Exact reason I would not want to do it haha. Try explaining to somebody that you'll be out of town for a week wrestling and cruising the Caribbean with a thousand guys on a boat
