the simco thread that was locked should be reopened in light of new information that he has bought himself a black belt in BJJ.people should be aware of the shadiness and unscrupulous business practices of this person as he misrepresents one of the most respected martial arts in history. nhbgear.com has info on its forum about the bought belt but every site should make this info available. reopen the discussion thread and keep it to the top so new students dont get taken by this scam artist!!!!!!
I used to train in the hudson valley, and have heard some eh...lets say not so good things about him... I heard from a student of his that he got his BB on the up and up from a guy from brazil...though I have been told many times he basically bought all of his other belts from Jenn...
simco has some type of influence with certain sites. there was a thread here a while bach which discussed his belt shopping and his claims to being a florida state champion and a 200 -0 nhb record and some how simco contactedthe site and had them lock the thread. i agreed at the time that the thread had gone past its useful stage but now he has gone way beyond even his own deceitfulness by buying a black belt. should be discussed.
