"Pyrithione zinc, found in Head & Shoulders shampoo, is a very effective treatment for ringworm on the scalp and can be used as a body wash to assist in overall treatment."

Yup, that's where I train. I was doing some homework- drills, cardio, etc- on the mats at Montclair state... that's where I picked up the worm. Didn't get it from the MBJJ mats.

I tried to start up a club at Montclair State. The guy I was talking to was a huge fucking pain in the ass about it. I was really pissed off with how they handled it. Eventually I just gave up on it and got a few people together that I'm friends with and we trained every Friday night at Montclair. Me, another blue belt from my BJJ academy, a blue belt from a Renzo Newark academy, one of my friends who trains thai boxing, and one of my friends who was a wrestler. We stopped after I got the worm from the mats because of that and also because MBJJ added an open mat on Friday night.

If you don't care about potential scarring, the best way to get rid of ringworm is to scrub the area with bleach. It will sting like a bitch and leave a scar, but the worm will be gone almost immediately and for good.

Yea that pretty much kills the fungus in a jiffy but you do scar like shit. Its good for if you get it on your arms or legs since it also usually gets infected and looks disgusting for a few days after.

I vouch for the bleach method too. I don't miss any time, but unfortunately, it does scar.

Considering that the worm is on my neck and chin, I think I'll pass on the bleach treatment. I'd definitely consider using it if it wasn't on my face/neck though.

good call on not using bleech, that's a bad idea all around. Use rubbing alchohol. It'll disinfect it and most importantly it'll seriously dry it out. just get some cotton balls or what ever and soak them with some alchohol and place it on the wring worm. I had ringworm once as a kid and this took care of it fast.
