My friend told me that Gianni Grippo got his purple. I was hoping that he was gonna do the GQ, hee would have been in my divison lol.

I saw a couple of guys taping parts of it. Renzo and John D made great speeches. Kay also got her purple. The new black belts were (I thought it was 9? If so, I'm missing one): Bruno Tostes, George Sernak, Stan Beck, Gino Enaudi, Daisuke Yamaji, Jim Gorman, Hector Gonzales, Robert Slatkin.

Damn Renzo has so many blackbelts, and yet he keeps a very high standard in awarding them. That place must have the deepest pool of high-level training partners on the east coast.
