rank vs. rank of instructor

what if you go to a school where the instructor is a blue but you are a brown?

wouldn't that be kind of weird? you may so go to a different school but suppose that this was the only school in the area?

I can think of a least one school where the owner is a lower rank than some of his students. I don't think it is uncommon now as well to find TMA schools bring in BB and they are just starting out at white.

Then you'd be in a weird situation. Though you could probably get a part time job training there, at least you should get to train for free, since your experience alone would be a huge help to the team.

Is this hypothetical or your actual situation?

Rank doesn't mean time, what are you talking about? Some people get blue belts after a few years, some people are ready 6 months after starting.
