Sucks that Gatsalov got sick. This is about as close to an Olympic preview as we're going to get minus Gatsalov whom I think has the gold locked this year. Then again, crazy things happen in the Olympics.

themat.com has some updates here and there as the event is going on. Other than that just random people giving information on forums is about as good as it gets for PBP. No video either as far as I know. Videos are usually posted a bit after the event is completely over.

What an unbelievably young (and strange) team the US has at worlds this year. Three wrestlers from the college class of '07, and three from '06. Only Hrovat is an experienced international competitor.

Update: 1 hour after it was decided that UZB was going to be in the finals against RUS, the decision was revised and Cuba is now going to be in the finals against Russia.

This isn't the world championships. This is the world CUP. Two very different events. This is a dual meet. The actual US starting world team is Henry Cejudo, Mike Zadick, Dough Schwab, Joe Heskett, Joe Williams, Daniel Cormier, and Tommy Rowlands.
