Never go in to a tournament saying your gonna use "this move" judo isnt about that

you have to move see what happens and your training will follow i seen a guy who started judo for 3 months he did really nothing in the club he got into a tournament and he started uchi mataing people left and right after the tournament he was like " i didnt even know how to do that move "

I disagree, most world class judoka go into comps with 5-10 good throws in their pocket...they don't train all 67 throws for comps. I always have 5 throws that I want to try to pull off, if that doesn't work I go to shooting

If you have a good enough base 4 throws you can win the olympic title. Seriously, Koga had 1 huge weapon throw and 3 back ups to work off it and he cleaned out the 92 olympics. Yoshida had his uchi mata in 92 and did the same, if your one weapon is good enough there is no stopping you.

Make sure that when you go for it, the leg you are reaping is forward. Otherwise, it'll be too telegraphed.

You might only need 4-5 good throws, but you need to be able to set up from a lot of different gripping situations.

It is a little fast, but here are some nice throws
