i have 2 gis. 1 is a gameness platinum weave. it is awesome except for all of the damn patches. i actually took the big patch off the back because it would sort of stick to the mat. i also have a Adidas Competition gi I got through sekasports.com. The top is really nice and strong. It's pretty comfortable. the pants however are not nearly strong enough for grappling. in little over a month, the pants ripped from the ankle to the knee. seka said they would replace them for me, but i have not heard back from them.

I still say, dollar for dollar, Gameness puts out the best gi product. The platinum weave is flat-out awesome. If you don't like the patches, you can just take them off.

I just picked up a Gameness Pearl for $106, and it, too, is an awesome, lightweight gi.

And Gameness pants are the best.

Thanks for the info guys. I was looking at some Koral GI's (ive borrowed a friends a few times and liked it) and noticed this site sell's the Jacket seperate. I actually have a brand new pair of pants so this could save me a few bucks.

Only thing is they dont say what type of GI it is, but I assume its the Classic.

Only available in Black or white though , but still tempting.

ps - John: Ill prolly be down next wendsday. I hear your cross training with the Karate guys that night. I know ive been training with you guys lately, but I did train with them for 4 years so I might have to pick sides, though Id love to submit some of the higher grades who used to always beat me at "point sparring" ;).

I have a howard too and for the money it's great. I like my Koral better, but the for the price I could have bought 3 howards.

I have an atama gold weave, mostly for winter, and a koral classic, mostly for summer. both of them are awesome gis but I've lost a lot of weight since I bought my atama (A3) and now I feel like I'm swimming in it. My A2 koral fits like a glove.

These Lucky Gis are for people who are tired of gis with sub par quality and stupid ugly logos with men laying on men. Tattoo style Lucky Gi logos are on the back, both arms, and pants. Inside jacket is printed with LG logo pattern print. There are also other cool hits all over the gis
.
