What's up Gerbil? Congrats on the brown belt. Getting it from Gordo is a big accomplishment especially given that you've only been there for a couple of months. Keep up the good work with your training and this blog. It's been great for all of us to read.

i really have a lot of respect for gordo since he promoted you...he knows you won't be with him for long and theres a million excuses a lot of guys would have found to NOT promote you. I really think its cool that he decided "you know what, this guy is a fucking brown belt, so I am promoting him."
