not yet but I'm going to do the Rio Open on the 25th of July so you guys can expect a video of that

Awesome update dude, palm pilots in a BK, wow they definitely 1 up us there.. Pictures are shweet.. How are you doing against the purple/brown belts? I was surprised to hear about the warm ups being not brutal, I figured they would be. At my school its pretty common for us to exhausted during warm up/cardio sessions, esp when a tournament is approaching..

Man Gerbil you sure have come a long way, even if you don't realize it now, w/ your training and being there in Brazil, keep the updates coming!

BTW who do you plan on getting promoted by when you come back to the states? I know you got your purple but at some point I know you gotta want that BLACK!

thanks for the encouraging words. As for the answer to the promotion part...I'm have no clue. As it stands now I'll probably stay a purple belt forever. I know that sucks but there is a lot of political stuff behind the scenes that I would rather just not deal with. I had kind of thought initally that would be something that would happen down here but after seeing the level here I think I"m right where I should be.

Yeah I hear ya. I remember a while ago earlier in the thread you talked about that political stuff but I know the belt doesn't make the man, but I know its a sign of respect and prestige. Well I hope you win in ADCC in 2011, as a purple ha ha!! Keep the posts coming! (Or if you ever come back and open your own school, you should at least get a brown/black? But who knows man, best of luck to you whatever you decide!)
