Not quite as big, but a HW, yeah. I updated my post. 5'10", fighting around 220 currently. With my new job I plan on getting to 205.

Actually, it looks pretty bad. You do have good control over the arm, keeping the thumb up and pinky down. So you're probably getting some pressure there on the elbow. But I have no idea what you are trying to do with your legs, and you haven't broken his posture at all.
If you can't go to a school, invest in some more DVDs, my friend.

ive learned a bit since then, but good advice. unfortunately my "income bracket" doesn't accommodate school. id give mah left nut though...

Well, being self taught he is probably not aware of this, but if you are attacking an arm and the other guy has reached through with his other arm to take a grip and try to prevent it from being locked, you can switch to this position, take a grip on the opposite arm and throw your leg over his head for an armbar on the opposite arm you started with. The best part is that by doing so, you can use your weight to bring your opponent to his face, which makes it difficult for him to continue holding on.
In this particular picture, just imagine switching grips to the big guy's left arm and swinging the right leg and hips up and over...
