Surprise news to me! This is the first I heard of it. I guess Rickson wanted to give it to him after he rolled through the Rickson BJJ tournament in Japan recently and before the Mundials.

Kron is so tough mentally and physically. I don't know if he'll win, but he just made the medio black division that much tougher. Congratulations to him.
