Judo throws for short people

What are the best throws for someone my build, 5'8 150lbs 10% body fat. I am quick and explosive. I come from a wrestling background and I have been doing strictly BJJ now. I tried to do a little research and Morote Seoinage was supposed to be a great throw to master. Can someone give me some suggestions on throws that would work best for me. Thanks guys.

Drop seoinage (exploding out of it one you're in tight so you don't end up with him on your back), kata guruma (you'll like that one, it's really a wreslting move but the gi makes it even more effective), sode tsuri komi goshi, sasae tsuri komi ashi (the sacrifice version so you end up on top of your opponent), te guruma, tai otoshi (make sure you learn the competition version rather than the standard grading version), and o soto gari.

Learn to do them as combo's ... judo throws are like punches, you use one to set up another.

I've asked this before and anything "drop" was the common answer, I'm 5'9 175 and the drop techniques do work amazing ... but being short is an advantage because your already below the opponents belt so most techniques will work well for you ... the best way for you to find out is to do alot of randori with someone your weight and skill to see what positions and entry's come easy to you then practice throws from there ... Hope that helps

yea i find any of the drops are easier on taller guys. any foot sweeps or anything leggy i find tough on people more than 3-4 inches taller than me.

All of them really. Your center of gravity is naturally lower.

Do you train at a club?

Seoi-nage is the classic small man's throw, but you'll probably be best off seeing what works for you personally.

I'm training at a BJJ dojo/school whatever you wanna call it with many higher level belts coming from judo backgrounds. I'm going back to school and am going to resume my training there in about 2 weeks so I wanted to get an idea of what throws I should ask them to teach me.

im about your build (5'10", 170lbs, 10%also) and my go to move is the drop seoi

i like to do the version where you have a same side grip and rather than go under the arm just hold onto the lapel and drop (would that be considered a drop morote seoi nage??)
