I really don't think that guy is a BJJ black belt.

And if the ezekiel is a BJJ achilles heel, then what's the secret counter to it that only Judo guys know?

PS I tapped out a judo black belt with an ezekiel choke from mount on Saturday.

Child Please! This is such a troll thread. "On any given sunday either a BJJ guy or Judo guy could beat each other."

I train in both, BJJ & Judo, but these style wars or UFC 1 mentality is getting out of hand.

Agreed. These threads are what have kept me away from here for so long.

i don't like BJJ just for the simple fact that there's too much stalling and trying to get into little pretty positions. not only that, but nearly 75% of the "sweeps" and guards and all that junk were invented by various instructors. that's not even teaching anymore. judo > BJJ forever.

So serious this thread. Bjj meets are just more practice. That's it. Unless it's a combat sambo match or that Japanese style that allows punching, kicking and elbows with grappling its just grappling practice. Which is better than no practice, meets and training. Try playing your guard with someone who is punching you that's the best practice.

Exactly. All the same moves, they are the same. BJJ just concentrate more on ground than most Judokas. Not all, most.
