how long to get blue belt?

how long might it take somone to achive a blue belt in bjj. been training for three months and was hoping that in a year or so i might be ready. i realise that it differs with each person but just want a general idea or examples of how long it took some of you to get blue , purple etc

There's a fair chance that you could find a local TKD school, train 1 day each week, and get your black belt there before getting your blue belt from a decent BJJ school.

I dont speak portugeuse but I think a loose translation would be "Shut up and train."

1 year to blue belt.
At 2 years you'll have earned the right to give everyone else advise on Sherdog.
At 3 years you'll realize you don't know half as much as you thought you did, and you'll stop giving so much advice and start listening a little more.
At 4 you'll get your purple and stop posting on Sherdog.
At 5 you'll get married, have kids, buy a dog, own a house, drive an suv, and take up golf.
