Has this forum improved your grappling?

Since whenever you found it. Just wondering.

I have to say, f12 has certainly opened my eyes to how much good material is on Youtube these days - in terms of instructionals, inspirational documentaries, well-made highlights.

Kudos

I'll say yes, at least to some degree. There's no substitute for mat time, but I have seen several videos on here that have opened my eyes to new techniques, or added some new dimension to techniques I already know.

Wat Iz Juice, your last six posts have been asking if someone is taking a piss. Do you have some sort of fixation on piss? Or are you just concerned for our collective prostate health?

I made a thread asking for the keys to a wicked side control. My side control is pretty wicked now.

not so much as far as actual rolling skill, but finding like minded individuals who like to discuss grappling topics is fun and can be indispensable to things related to grappling outside of just rolling on the mat.

its a good place to vent, and get an understanding of situations moves from another source besides your gym. With gerbil bjj and jasculls running around posting videos all the time it definitly helps.

i don't pick new moves up from here, but it's reassuring when i open a thread and see people discussing finer details of ones i do use.
