Newbie Question - Calf Slicer

Hey guys, I'm not a grappler of any caliber, just an MMA fan with a question.

I was looking through Ivan Menjivar's record and noticed he had a win by 'Calf Slicer'. Looked it up on wikipedia and understand it has to do with pushing a muscle into a bone but I'm still kinda' confused on exactly what it is and have never seen one done.

Can any of you grappling gurus help explain or link me to where I can learn about slicer submissions?

Thanks.

The technique is shown in photos on lockflow.com. Or I show it on my website in video format on the video clips section (Top left hand of first page), at www.KibunInc.com.

The move is a calf crush. You pull your opponents calf muscle against either your shin bone or forearm depending on how you are applying the technique.

Essentially, the calf-slicer involves placing the shin against the calf, as JJC said. If you know anything about wrestling, the best entrance is from a single-leg back ride...maintain the single-leg ride but turn so that you are facing away from your opponent...grab the top of his foot with both hands and use your back to pull it to you...figure-four your legs together at the same time as you fall to your back...and then listen to him scream.

look at ur elbow, imagine tis ur knee,
now shove a big pipe on the crook of ur arm (other side of elbow) and fold your arm like your
flexing ur bicep, keep going, try to put your wrist on to your shoulder,
it hurts your bicep, your forearm, and eventually will rip a space between your forearm and the rest of your arm.
