The first one is a fitness goal; it's to be down to 220 by October. Would like to try a tournament with guys that don't outweigh me by 50 lbs.

These are my bjj goals for the next year:

Have a sweep max of 25
Have a pass max of 25
Get better off my back.(Side mount.)
Place at my next tournament
Improve my transitions in series of moves. (ie; triangle, armbar, omoplata.)

Not too high of goals but enough to make it challenging. Good luck to everyone else in their goals.

Don't understand what you mean with this, could you please explain?

My goals would be to constantly develop my game, especially making it more solid by making my weakpoints stronger and my strong positions even better.
Enter competitions, and winning them.
Getting purple belt

Compete in a bjj tourney, both gi and no-gi.
just curious what fighting a 'smoker' is. My friend said he was going to fight one the other day and I assumed it was a guy who smoked cigarettes lol.

My goals are simple:

- Top 3 in national grappling competition for my weight division ad advanced level.
- Blue belt by October (this is somewhat superficial but I feel like Im there already and I want to prove this hence Im workin my ass off to make sure I get it which makes it a good goal)
- Get my walking weight from 228 to around 220
- Tighten up my subs from various positions (taking privates soon to make sure of this)

Make sure u do.

I competed a month ago in a comp which I was supposed to win with ease according to my teacher. I won BUT I didnt train hard and ended up extremely gassed goin into the last match which was against a guy who had also won all of his matched so it was like a tie breaker. I just about got out of the tournament by winning in overtime on a takedown (was a sub tourney, no points and if needed decided on 1st takedown)
