French kneebar..

OK, I don't know if there's anything french about it, but it's a french guy doing it in the vid.

I didn't understand the explanations since they're in french, but it looks like a nice move you might be able to surprise your opponent with. Kinda like a rolling calf slicer from top half guard, but with an inverted kneebar instead. Never seen it before:

If you already have the figure four then you don' need to roll. But the roll looks cool, and it extends the leg, which can make the lock tighter.

Nice.

Would a gilotine work as a counter to that? I was picturing this defense-
1)slip an overhook with the left hand into his armpit to prevent him from tucking enough to roll
2)shoot the right arm hard past the arm holding it down and wrap around the neck. use a pummeling type motion
3)switch quickly from the overhook to the gilotine and tighten

Does that sound doable?
