Anyone saying that Roy Harris and John Will contributed nothing to the BJJ world should probably drive off of a cliff. While I have witnessed many a stupid comment in my time on Sherdog, this one is really out there.

Thanks for the clarification. I heard he is a really good grappler and one of the best in Holland and he trains Alistair on groundwork. Alistair won the European trials for ADCC so I assumed he must be pretty highly ranked.

Yes he is one of the best grapplers in Holland. But bjj is another story. He doesn't do bjj anymore and that's why he is still a purple belt. But his no-gi level is pretty high for our standards. I think his school is the best no-gi school in the country. He also trains Marloes Coenen. One of the best female grapplers in the world!

Holland still has a long way to go but our level is coming along nicely. You guys better watch out because we are gunning for you

Steve Maxwell got his in 01 or 02 to the best of my knowledge. From relson, he was reslons first American BB

Kukuk is the #1 canidate.

The Serras were Renzos first American BB's.

All of the guys on that list I'm sure have contributed greatly to the sport.

Actually, from what I've heard, Kukuk trained extensively under Renzo, but got his BB from Royler, which may have caused a falling out between Kukuk and Renzo, but I could be wrong.
