Icon10 Favorite Takedown+Setups

I'm interested to see what everyone elses favorite takedowns, and setups are. I'll go first. I'm not too big on outside shots because if they fail, I get put in turtle(not a position I'm strong from). That being said Ilike to tie-up and work from there. My favorite takedown is the high single. I set it up my getting my head and an underhook on the same side. With my other hand I go for wrist control or collar tie. I step away from the leg I'm shooting on, and snap him down a few times. When he pops up I grab the high single, drive forward and look for the dump(aka run the pipe), the foot trip, and the switchoff to double. Feel free to go in detail and post links!

Uchi-Mata both gi and no-gi....

Combo'd with Ouchi Gari, and Osoto Gari...

I also like Ouchi, Kouchi, Kosoto combos as far as trips/sweeps go.

I have to say if I could get it more often I'd prefer the harai goshi to uchi-mata, but I hit Uchi-Mata ALOT.

My favorite and best takedown is Tai-Otoshi. It is very simple to complete. All you do in take a step back with your left foot (from right posture or any posture), pull them to their right front coner so all of their weight is on their right leg. Then step across with your right foot so it is just (repeat JUST) infront of his right foot and use his momentum against him and throw him over your right foot/calf area. Works very well and is a simple throw.

I like throws and takedowns from a Japanese Headlock

My favorite shot is a headbutt double w/ a leg scoop on the way down to pass guard.

My most high percentage takedown is 2 on 1 wrist control to an ankle pick.

I like Osoto Gari to O Guruma to Tai-Otoshi. I rarely ever get to the Tai Otoshi as my O Guruma is very compatible with me.
