Could use a few pointers

Ok I been doing jujitsu for about a month its a very small class (only about 5 of us ) their is one bluebelt and everyone else is new. I smoke all the new people when we roll but get destroyed fighting the blue belt (which I know is going to happen) I like rolling with the blue belt because I know it will make me better anyone have any tips on things to really work just to improve and also should I get books or vids maybe to help any tip will be appreciated.

When you "smoke" the other new people, is it when you explosively attempt your deadly scramble to the back, Guillotine, or Americana? This can help me see what you need.

I was asking what do you use against the people you smoke. I already have a good idea what the other dude does to you.

youtube whatever you are having problems with

"mount escape"
"triangle escape"

look into rubber guard, i catch everyone in gogo platta.

if i cant escape the mount i usually just turtle and escape from there because i can easily escape hooks/sitting down and turning into either half guard, being in his guard, or sliding past for sidemount rather escaping a fullmount on a heavier guy.

how are you getting caught into mount all the time? just passing guard and going from side, up and over? or what?

there are MANY things you have to take into account when it comes to being caught in the mount (keeping opponent posture down from the guard, not letting him pass, keeping the legs/guard tight, not allowing the pass from side to full - etc etc, it will come with time)

eventually it will all come with time. one day it just clicked for me and ive been dominating people a month ago i couldnt get anywhere close to a sub on.
(im only white belt, i should have a stripe though)

you gotta learn how to defend submissions on your back. When i started jiu jitsu i was a beginner like you. When you are on your back, the kimura is one of the best half guard submissions out there. If you do not know how to do it, go to youtube or ask your instructor.

Well, the first thing is to identify your problem areas. What are they? How are you constantly being "destroyed" (to borrow your description of rolling with a blue belt). Whatever that is, then focus on it outside of class. Hopefully, your instructor is also giving you advice about what you should work on outside of class.
