I just came upon this interview by Cesar Gracie. He briefly talks about his and Carlson's plans to open up a school in L.A. Man if that happened that place would have created some great fighters.

Nope, I train under Adam zugec, a BB under Marcus Soares.

I read about that as well. It was Carlson Sr's goal to have a school in Brazil, Chicago and LA. The LA school would have been the HQ and he'd have MMA training and sport BJJ training before tournaments. And the competitors from Chicago and Brazil would go to the LA school before their events to get schoolin' from the big fella. Sadly, he passed before he and Cesar could get it going. Cesar is keeping the MMA flag flying as a trainer in the Gracie clan, bless 'em.
