Icon2 Best knee pads

My knees are getting torn up. What wrestling or grappling knee pads work best?

Thanks.

define "torn up"

if it's just getting used to the mat burns/soreness, you don't need pads unless you're getting blood and pus and whatever all over the mat.

if you have knee problems, thats different

I have a pair made by BRUTE which I really like.

And yes...I have chronic knee problems.

I've been using these for a couple years now. They're great. I have had knee problems since high school, and these really help out when im grappling

I have always prefered the neoprene brace/pad rather than a more convnetianal kneepad. I have an old cooper one but those asics ones look nice.

hey,

if its impact oriented, i recommend volleyball knee pads...if you're small (like me) you can get the kids ones for $7 and they work GREAT

i agree that volleyball kneepads work amazing. Adidas and Nike both make a solid pair.
